The British Horror Film Festival 2010 took place on the 30th October at the Pier Theatre, Bournemouth.
People travelled from across the world to attend. Director John Soto, who was delightful, arrived from Australia to lend support to his film Needle, which picked up three awards.
Devil's Playground was a firm favorite with the judges scooping four awards, not only Best Feature but Best Director, Best Producer and Best Actor!
Director Mark McQueen gave a great Q&A session, he also collected Best Actor on behalf of Danny Dyer who was gutted he was filming, but sent a text message in true Danny style that read "Wish I wasn't stuck in ****ing Blackpool".
Voodoo Lagoon's producer David Cohen discussed low budget film-making and went on to collect Best Supporting Actor on behalf of John Noble.
The British Horror Award went to a much deserved 'Short Lease', it also picked up Best Actress for Marysia Kay. The Audience Award was won by Nursery Crimes. Mutantland picked up Best Short Film and Best Student Film was the German film Roadkill.
There were so many film makers, directors, producers, actors, actresses and film lovers that attended making the event extra special. The Bashford Twins brought much support for their film Smiley as did Harrison Wall for Bournemouth's film The Snatching.
We look forward to seeing you all at the British Horror Film Festival 2011!
