Bournemouth pier was drenched in sunshine throughout the day making this years British Independent film festival a memorable day for our well deserved winners.Winners came from far and wide including China,Taiwan and Finland.

The day started with world renowned author Terry Deary showing his first amazing episode from 'True Time Tales' that will be released in the UK later this year.

It was followed by the winning films being screened and later in the evening the prestigious awards took place. This years speeches gave thanks of to cast and crews, writers and directors, family and friends.

The guild thanked our sponsors Greenleaf Studios and Future Copyright for their support to make the event possible.

We personally want to thank everyone that attended. It made our first year the success it was and a great benchmark for the future. Who knows with the help of our independent film makers we could be the next BAFTA's, Festival de Cannes or Oscars....maybe just maybe.........
